AMECO Group expands its APAC Presence: appoints new sales director and opens new office in Kuala Lumpur to best serve the demand for its bulk handling solutions
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia / Binzen, Germany, May 13, 2020 — AMECO Group is pleased to announce that Conrad Behrman has been appointed to lead its Asia Pacific region sales office in Kuala Lumpur.
This critical and strategic hire represents the continuation of a long-term investment by AMECO Group to best engage and support its APAC customers. AMECO Group machines and services have been available to APAC customers with our first machines commissioned in India in the 1960s.
Conrad Behrman will drive the AMECO Group go-to-market sales strategy in APAC. As part of this hiring, our APAC office is located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The office will deal with AMECO Group business units’ product lines – from handling requests for new stackers, reclaimers, circular stockyards, machine revamping, and delivering our high-quality spare parts.
Conrad Behrman will be responsible for sales, expanding a skilled network of value-added resellers and suppliers. He brings a unique mix of technical and business development experience. He is also very familiar with end customers and EPCs’ needs regarding complex bulk handling projects, thanks to his experience serving these customers in Canada.
