In March 2018, AMECO successfully completed the first stage commissioning of one portal reclaimer for SOCAR’s (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic) new urea plant in the industrial area of Sumqayit, near Baku.

In March 2018, AMECO successfully completed the first stage commissioning of one portal reclaimer for SOCAR’s (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic) new urea plant in the industrial area of Sumqayit, near Baku.

43-meter rail span portal reclaimer

AMECO designed, manufactured and supervised the installation of the 43-metre rail span portal reclaimer. This fit-for-purpose equipment is able to handle 210 TPH (tons per hour) of urea with a total storage capacity exceeding 60,000 tons.

Erection and commissioning was jointly performed by AMECO and Samsung Engineering and Construction Ltd, the EPC contractor for this project.
